Hub Fire and Security have secured the contract to provide the design and commission of the new fire alarm system at the new student accommodation at Kings College, Champion Hill, London.

As part of King’s vision to improve and develop its provision of student accommodation, and in association with the modernisation of Denmark Hill Campus, King’s College Hall is being redeveloped to a higher standard both in the quality of the accommodation and in the attractiveness of the complex in the neighbourhood. The facility is expected to open in September 2014.

Students were involved in the design of the facilities, expressing their requirements and preferences. Comments from local residents and other stakeholders were carefully considered and informed the final design.

Bangor University – Project Pontio

HUB Fire and Security have been awarded the contract for the Life Safety and Security Schemes in Bangor University’s new arts and innovation centre Pontio, which will open its doors in 2014. Home to a mid-scale theatre, a studio theatre, a cinema, design and innovation centre, Students Union, spacious lecture theatres, social learning spaces, bar, café that, requires a wide ranging and comprehensive Life Safety and Security scheme.

HUB were awarded the contract by Balfour Beatty Electrical Services Limited (BBESL) who are providing the Mechanical and Electrical services for the building.

Hub Fire and Security have secured the contract for the supply, installation and commissioning of the security systems at the new Notre Dame Catholic College.

Notre Dame Catholic College in Liverpool is moving to a new site on Great Homer Street, which is part of the greater – Project Jennifer Scheme. The School is being built offering more flexibility so that the internal layout and entire use of the site can be changed in the Future.

The new School will be built with the Community in mind and will have a Health and Wellbeing Centre and Indoor Market Traders.
